8/85 to 9/86 - Executive Director, American Society of Interior Designers: Comprehensive
Search was hired to do a major management turnaround of this professional society consisting of 28,000 members. Brown was Executive Director and continued to run Comprehensive Search while
living in Manhattan.
1975 to 1982 - Milliken and Company: Managed their $70,000,000 contract business which
tripled in sales in three years. Developed strategy and implemented the creation of a separate contract sales organization. Developed Milliken's Hospitality Textiles Program.
Previously - Armstrong World Industries: Various management positions in labor
relations, training, and sales (Salesman of the Year). Lived in Lancaster, PA; Pensacola, FL; Los Angeles, CA; and Dallas, TX.

oldest and largest association of children and family service providers.
Chaired Republican Caucus Task Force 2002 to reduce Medicaid costs
Chaired Subcommittee 2002 Prescription Drugs for Low Income Seniors
Presently Chair Subcommittee of Appropriations for health budgets. (Departments are Community Health which
includes Medicaid, Department of Human Resources and Department of Labor. The total budgets are 11 billion)
